Athletic Scholarships

FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Lancer varsity athletics attracts exceptional student-athletes at the highest level in their sport and promotes the merits of goal setting and team achievement on and off the field.

The University of Windsor and our Lancer Athletics program prides itself on offering the best student experience possible to our student-athletes. We are committed
to helping students with demonstrated financial need manage the education expenses associated with pursuing your University degree (tuition, books and mandatory course fees). Financial assistance is available through a variety of sources including OSAP, scholarships, bursaries, and our IGNITE work study program.

Scholarships, awards and bursaries are available through the Office of Student Awards and Financial Aid (https://www.uwindsor.ca/studentawards). All UWindsor students must fill out the UWin Award Profile to be eligible for consideration for any financial award or bursary.

BLUE AND GOLD ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIPS
We understand that earning an athletic scholarship can be a game-changing opportunity for student-athletes.  Your combined success and dedication in both academics and athletics can score you much needed financial support and allows the University of Windsor to attract outstanding student-athletes from across Canada, the United States and internationally.

As such, the Department of Athletics is pleased to provide Blue and Gold Athletic Scholarships to incoming and returning Lancer student-athletes.

Under Ontario University Athletics guidelines, varsity teams in Ontario are able to allocated athletic financial awards up to a maximum of $5,000 per year/athlete to qualified student-athletes in addition to other academic awards and bursaries to help offset expenses for the school year.
